Made with Mess, Built with Character
Little Mixers connects kids ages 4–12 to food — how it's made, where it comes from, and how it feels — through hands-on, sensory cooking experiences led by real local chefs sharing their own stories. It's a real alternative to screen time, village-style: kids build confidence, curiosity, and a lasting connection to what's on their plate.
Little Messers
mess·er /ˈmɛs.ər/ — noun, Irish slang
A kid who's playful, mischievous, always in the middle of something. Said with a laugh, not a warning.
What we believe
Our Ingredients

3 cups
wild + messy
(hands-on, sensory learning encouraged)

4 teaspoons
local flavor
(real ingredients, real makers)

A generous sprinkle of
imagination + curiosity
(because discovery is the point)
Our Philosophy
From Scratch
Somewhere along the way, food became something to be afraid of.
Passion instead of rules, curiosity instead of restriction — especially in a world that's gotten very good at telling kids what not to eat before it ever teaches them what they might love.Read our full story →
How It Works
Our Mise en Place
- 01
Drop off your kid. 90 minutes, no experience necessary.
- 02
Meet the chef. Every class starts with a story — how this chef fell in love with food.
- 03
Get messy, make something real. Kids cook alongside the chef, hands-on the whole way.
- 04
Eat what they made. The best part. Every time.
- 05
Take home a new passion. A skill, a story, a reason to want back in the kitchen.
